Best superyacht chefs from all over the world, in one place gathered together for a unique competition: that’s the ""BSC" - BEST SUPERYACHT CHEF COMPETITION.

In 2024 the inaugural BEST SUPERYACHT CHEF competition will be held in Croatia. This will mark the first time ever that such a yacht chef competition has been held in Croatia. And what better place to hold the maiden voyage of this chef competition than the stunningly beautiful seaside town of Cavtat. [open map]
Located in the very far south of Croatia, this picture postcard destination has been a magnet for international tourists for decades. And it is also a safe haven for yachts of all shapes and sizes. Many of you have probably already been here, and indeed cooked here. The first ever Best Superyacht Chef competition contest will be held in town Cavtat.
JURY
You bring your skills, and we’ll bring a jury
- a team of five in our jury will hand out their expert opinions on your cuisine
- three members of the jury will be highly respected chefs with years of experience.

Here are the Terms and Conditions

- Who can apply - a professional chef from a yacht
- The competitor has the right to bring one assistant as desired (optional, the assistant does not have to be a cook)

- The contestant will create two dishes: 1 main dish + 1 warm or cold appetizer
- Five portions of each dish are to be served: 5 main dishes + 5 hot or cold appetizers = 10 plates in total

- Duration of preparation and serving of food up to 3 hours’ maximum

- The competitor decides what to prepare and makes the food requirements at least one month before the competition
- Everything on the plate must be prepared in the restaurant
- The chef must have his chef's uniform
- The organizer of the competition will clean the kitchen

- All prepared plates must be identical

- Everything on the plate must be edible
- The contestants will serve dishes on plates from the restaurant
- The number of sauces in a dish is not limited

- Registration fee for the competition

- 500.00 EUR + VAT to be paid to the account of Absolute Yachting
- or
- an order with Absolute Yachting in the amount of at least 1,000.00 EUR + VAT

- By signing the application form for BEST SUPERYACHT CHEF 2024, the contestants and their assistants give consent to the organizer for the collection, processing and publication of their data as well as the NAME of the yacht for:

- recording, collection and processing of photos, audio and video recordings created during the BEST SUPERYACHT CHEF qualification competition and their further use for the purpose of promoting the competition on the BSC official website, social networks and in other media areas
- BSC will use the collected personal data for the purpose of informing, reporting and promoting BSC
